A good strategy to improve our mental calculation is to know our number bonds which we’ve found tricky this week. Have a go at Hit the Button – Number Bonds. Play through the games in the “Number bonds to 100” section. You should also be confident with understanding number bonds within decimals which will come in useful when we do work on them.
Those who are confident with number bonds to 100, see if you can play the following game. Choose Level 3 -> Addition -> Number bonds to 1,000. See how quickly you can do them in!
